FAQ’s
What is a free consultation?
A free consultation includes 5-15 minutes to get a sense of your potential therapist and to see if it would be a good fit. The therapist can address any questions, comments or concerns.
How do I book without a consultation?
Yes! You can book without a consultation by calling, texting, emailing, or using our booking button feature above.
How do I know if you accept my insurance?
We are contacted with Cigna, Evernorth, Aetna, and United/Optum. You can check with the therapist by asking them if they are in-network with your insurance and obtain your copay or deductible information.
How long is a first appointment? Do I need to prepare anything?
All appointments range from 45-55 minutes long. You should complete all intake forms 72 hours prior to your appointment to secure your intake appointment time. Other than intake forms, you do not need to prepare in advance for your appointment. However, some clients do journal or note in advance what they want to address for their appointments.
What is a Superbill?
A Superbill is a document that is an itemized receipt that clients can give to their insurance company for reimbursement. Not all insurances have comprehensive plans and cover out-of-network providers. Some insurance plans can cover out-of-network providers up to 80% of the service fee.
Can I use my HSA (health savings account) card?
Yes! You can enter in your HSA card just like you would enter in your credit or debt card to pay for sessions. We can provide a superbill or invoice if needed as well.
